飯綱高原の豊かな自然に囲まれた一棟貸しの宿です。標高1200mの地に、1998年の長野オリンピックの年に建てられました。 釘を一本も使わずに仕上げた伝統木造建築は、著名な建築家と宮大工が力を合わせて完成させたもの。手仕事の温もりを感じる、落ち着いた空間です。 力強くも繊細な木組み、障子越しの自然光、イサム・ノグチのAKARI照明がつくる陰影が、伝統とモダンの美しい融合を演出します。 室内には職人による土佐漆喰の壁を使用。杉やヒノキの香りに包まれながら、季節を問わず快適にお過ごし頂けます。 広さは195㎡。8畳の和室が4部屋あり、最大10名まで宿泊可能です。日本の美しさや静けさを味わいたい方にぴったりの場所です。四季折々の自然が楽しめる飯綱高原。新緑が美しい夏、色鮮やかな紅葉、雪景色が広がる冬——訪れるたびに違った魅力が感じられます。 夏は涼しく、爽やかな風が吹き抜ける高原の避暑地。静かで快適な時間を、自然の中でゆったりとお過ごしください。 冬は近くのスキー場でウィンタースポーツも。たっぷり遊んだあとは、あたたかな室内でくつろぐ——そんな贅沢なひとときを、心ゆくまでお楽しみいただけます。

Our 3-bedroom home is 200 sq. meters (2153 sq. feet) large and is a marriage between traditional Japanese architecture and modern technology and comfort. The home is accessible from Tokyo and other major cities via the Shinkansen bullet train or Joshin-etsu Expressway.

The pure hot spring water is sourced directly from nearby iconic Mount Asama. This mineral rich water is blessed with many healing properties. You can choose to rest and relax in this large comfortable home or explore the area. Kita-Karuizawa has much to offer and our property is the perfect place to call home.

Yatsugatake Sky Retreat｜Private Forest Stay

A quiet, stay-focused retreat in southern Yatsugatake. A freestanding house set within 120 hectares of forest at 1,400 meters, offering clean air, starry skies, and deep silence. Located between Kanto and Kansai, it’s perfect for a few quiet days. A traditional Japanese breakfast is served on departure day.
