'SAIGU' is a distinctly quaint 120-year-old Kyoto Machiya in the north-west area of Kyoto city. In 2010, the house was carefully and lovingly restored to its original beautiful style. It has four bedrooms so can accommodate 4 people comfortably, or 8 people max. The house is about 92 square meters.

昭和初期に建てられ、長らく茶道教室として使われてきた町家が、一棟貸し切りの宿「京町家コテージkarigane」として生まれ変わりました。 茶の湯と縁の深い大徳寺まで徒歩1分。 個性的なカフェや、珈琲ロースター、美味しい和菓子店やパン屋、蕎麦店のある、紫野。 自然素材と伝統工法にこだわり宮大工と左官職人によって丁寧に修復された京町家を拠点に、ゆったりとした時間の流れる京都市北部の観光へお出かけください。

位於京都花街區域，這是一座極為少見的傳統茶屋建築。茶屋在京都歷史上是藝伎文化的重要場所，比一般町屋更為講究與私密。 空間由京都知名町屋建築師 魚谷繁禮（Shigeyuki Uoya） 設計，在尊重傳統結構的同時融入現代生活方式，使古老茶屋重新煥發活力。 整棟茶屋僅接待少量客人，以保持空間的安靜與從容。在這裡，可以更接近京都花街文化的核心。
