English Country Cottage

An ultimate English cottage with nearby Highclere Castle a 10 minute drive away. Lovely walks and pubs nearby and shopping in Newbury town centre. A lovely retreat for couples, friends, artists, writers, and those just looking for a peaceful getaway. The cottage is NOT suitable for children under 12 years of age because of the spiral staircase and pond. NO pets because we have severe allergies. The have fibre optic WiFi, so most of the time it’s brilliant. ***The cottage has very low ceilings.

Vodafone Headquarters is a 15 minute walk, or 5 minutes by car. Newbury Racecourse is a 15 minute walk, or 5 minutes by car. Newbury railway station is a 15 minute walk, or 5 minutes by car.

The Old Dairy at Heads Hill Farm

Set on a former dairy farm, on the Berkshire/Hampshire border, The Old Dairy is a recently converted ground floor studio flat finished to a superb standard. With views towards Watership Down, located off a quiet country lane leading directly into the Greenham Common nature reserve; it offers a very restful, rural retreat. The guest Suite is attached to the main property. There is an internal door separating the two, which is locked from both sides. Double aspect bedroom and living space with comfortable king sized bed. Private bathroom with shower cubicle. Well equipped kitchenette but no oven, with dining table, Private off road parking and property entrance. Located 6 minute drive to Newbury town and 1 minute walk to closest bus stop. 8 minute drive to Newbury Race course. 8 minute junction 13 M4.

Lovely self-contained annex with outdoor space

A lovely self-contained annex furnished to a high standard in a quiet rural location on the Berkshire/Hampshire border, close to Newbury and Oxford and walking distance to Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey). Fenced secluded garden area with seating and BBQ for outdoor dining. The Annex is completely separate from our house with its own entrance and there's an allocated parking space for one car. Well behaved dogs are always welcome and there are some lovely walks on our doorstep.

Guest Favourite Apartment in the Central

An ideal home for all leisure, corporate or contractor guests. Full fibre broadband (superfast WiFi), coffee machine, air fryer, Alexa echo speaker, a dedicated work station, and even a mini football and pool table to make your stay even more comfortable. This spacious, historic yet modern interior apartment is surprisingly quiet for being right in the town centre. There is a sofa bed in the living room for an extra guest. There are a variety of places to eat close by ranging from cosy pubs to fine dining restaurants. Vine Annex sleeps 4 one king sized double, one single and one small single in twin room.
