PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT NEAR THE NEW FORREST NATIONAL PARK! This cozy cottage was the former Stables and lies in the grounds of the historic Merston Manor House dating back to 1605. The Cottage is approached by its own drive from Chapel Lane and has adjacent private parking. This cottage is next door my other listing Quaint Coach House Cottage which maybe available if this is not. We have a minimum 3 night booking but can be flexible on request. Wight Cottage is in St Mary's Road, a quiet neighbourhood close to the shops, pubs and restaurants of Cowes High Street. Next available dates for Wight Cottage are in May 2027. You'll appreciate the careful refurbishment of this 175 year old shipwright's house. In the summer you can throw open the French windows to a sunny garden. In the winter underfloor heating will keep you warm. Wight Cottage is just a few minutes walk from the marinas in Cowes. Perfect for a Cowes sailing event.

Genuinely dog- and family-friendly, all on one level no steps so totally disabled friendly Godshill’s a mile away; Shanklin, Sandown & Ventnor beaches minutes more. Switch off properly.

A light and airy wooden chalet accessed by a path through a fully fenced orchard with seating and a fire pit ideal for catching the last of the evening sun. Dogs are welcome and can be walked within the 8 acres of farmland which extends to the Eastern River Yar and includes a wildlife pond. The chalet is well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. If you’re lucky you’ll wake up to a Red Squirrel. 5 Pygmy goats in Sue’s garden next door are sure to amuse you.
