Anglesey Near Newborough Rustic Cottage Escape

Stay in a converted barn,an outbuilding to the rear of our 19th Century stone terrace. An open plan space with washroom,kitchen & bedroom the property is situated in the village of Brynsiencyn on the main coastal road through the South of the island. Our little cottage is a perfect stop off point if you have a busy itinerary or plan to visit some of our many local attractions. Perfect getaway for couples, cyclists and walkers.

The Croft is a sympathetic renovation of a 1772 built barn, renovated in 2016, in the grounds of the owners home. The self contained property has a king size bed, table and chairs, kitchenette which includes a fridge freezer, sink, toaster, kettle, microwave and small oven. There is a level access shower room. There is a multi fuel stove and background electric heating. Free wifi and a TV are also included. There is a small private garden and off street parking. Ideal for beaches and mountains.

Secluded river cottage & forest

A unique secluded Welsh cottage nestled in its own two acres of forest, gently placed on the banks of a river where the Garden room offers calming views of nature. Follow the long grassy driveway to discover this character filled stone cottage, artistically restored in a wonderful eclectic mix of reclaimed and new. Discover hidden treasures as breakfast bar becomes chess board and embrace a booklovers dream by curling up amongst the pages in the cosy reading nook by the wood burning stove.

Galwad y Môr

Galwad y Môr simply translated as Call of the Sea is a black clad cabin that blends seamlessly into its surroundings and located at the end of a private driveway. Llanddwyn Island and beach are one of Wales’ most popular and enchanting spots to visit. It's a lovely walk through the woods to Llanddwyn Beach, you may even see some of the famous red squirrels of Newborough Forest. We are dog friendly and have plenty of outdoor space along with direct access to the Wales Coastal Path.

Welsh Cottage (Grade II listed) with eco features

Dating back to 1850, this quaint white-washed Anglesey cottage is close to the beautiful coastline including magical Llanddwyn Island, an area of outstanding natural beauty and Newborough forest. A real hidden gem, Pen y Gamfa is tucked away down a pedestrian pathway. This charming cottage comprises a lounge and bedroom area. An Aga woodburner with Welsh slate surround provides ample heat supplemented by two electric radiators. An eco extension with living roof is a later addition.

Stablau’r Esgob

Lovingly converted from a derelict stable to a snug and cosy space for two. The stable is one of the outbuildings associated with our 14th century farmhouse and lies in the village of Gwalchmai, Anglesey. We are within walking distance to Anglesey Show ground and air strip (for any jet enthusiasts) and 10 minutes drive from Rhosneigr and its beaches. We would be a super base for those visiting the Anglesey Circuit at Tŷ Croes as we have plenty of parking space for car trailers.

Also ideal for accessing the mountains of Snowdonia and attractions like Zip World. The Cowshed- Beudy Hologwyn, is a boutique style barn conversion refurbished with all modern facilities tucked at the end of a quiet farm track with stunning mountain views.

Spacious annex in Caernarfon

A spacious 1 bed annex with large living/kitchen dining area, the property is within 5 minutes walk from the town, castle, restaurants, Galeri etc. and 2 minutes away from Lon Las cycle track. The annex has an upstairs bedroom which has a comfortable king sized bed and an en-suite shower room. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher. Utility room has washing machine and there is also a downstairs toilet. Plenty of on street parking available.

Sied Potio

This cosy one bedroom cabin , handcrafted from Welsh larch, is nestled in a peaceful and quiet location on the edge of Newborough forest. A rejuvenating walk along the Anglesey Coastal Path gets you to Traeth Llanddwyn Beach, where you can take a dip or a paddle or walk around Llanddwyn Island nature reserve, before returning for a snug evening in front of the wood burner. Luxuriate in a super king size bed, and wake up to views of Snowdonia through the picture windows.

The Nook at Wildheart Escapes

We've been operating our 6 beautiful holiday lets for over a year now, with hundreds of very happy guests. Located on the Marquess of Anglesey's private estate our team at Wildheart are waiting to welcome you to your countryside escape. Set in the large courtyard of Home Farm, this building would have once have been a key part of the busy working farm. Newly renovated into a comfortable home from home, it is the the perfect space to escape, relax and explore Anglesey.

The Stable

The Stable is a beautiful and unique cottage located on the Isle of Anglesey just a few minutes away from the famous Blue Flag beach at Newborough. There is free parking on site and gorgeous views from the stunning gable end window.The main room upstairs has amazing features including views across the surrounding countryside, an open plan ensuite bath tub and rustic stone walls. Downstairs there is a kitchen and dining area with a separate loo and wash basin.

Cottage is in the grounds of our 18C house. Views of Snowdonia; walk to Menai Straits, Sea Zoo, Foel Farm, Plas Newydd (NT); Menai Bridge 10 mins drive; great restaurants; amazing beaches, near Llandwyn Island. Private patio next to orchard & BBQ area; also use of our large garden. Large trampoline and zip wire. Good for couple or family of 4 (1 gallery bedroom above). Kitchenette.
