Caution: (We have a Floor Bed upstairs and a Sofa bed downstairs.) With historic pubs all around, Central Canterbury is 10 mins drive away yet you are in the countryside! Get away from London, breathe countryside air, travel to/from the Continent. Dover is only a 30mints.

Heronden Cottage is a handsome red brick house sitting in genuine seclusion, with open countryside rolling away on all sides. Sleeping 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, is set in the heart of one of the most quietly rewarding corners of East Kent. The village of Eastry is on the doorstep, and from here the coast, the Downs and Canterbury are all within easy reach - though on the evidence of Heronden Cottage itself, you may find you need rather less excuse than usual to stay put.

Our home and Annexe is situated just off the main road in the village of Lydden where we are surrounded by a National Nature Reserve and have access to beautiful walks on the chalk downlands and the Whitecliffs of Dover Coastal Walk is also close by. The village of Lydden has good transport links being adjacent to the A2 connecting Dover to London and within the easy reach the High Speed rail route to London St Pancras, Dover ferry port and the Eurotunnel.
