In the apartment you will find: - 1 big living room with a comfortable sofa, armchair, big working/dining table and a TV, overlooking the rooftops of Ghent - 1 fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, water boiler, dishwasher, fridge, French press and coffee grinder - 1 bedroom for 2 people (king size bed) overlooking the main street - 1 smaller bedroom with a box spring bed for 2 people and a desk - 1 bathroom with a bathtub and a standing shower - separate toilet - utility room with a washing machine, drying machine, ironing board, iron and a drying rack The apartment is equipped with a high-speed Wi-Fi. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with a shampoo, conditioner, make up remover, body lotion and various other hygienic products. Please take note, that the apartment is not suited for young children (say under the age of 5) since we are not equipped for this and also the furniture is not adjusted (glass coffee table for example). The apartment is on the 3rd floor, with no elevator. The apartment is very close to both public buses and trams. You will find the nearest tram station, Vogelmarkt (tram line 2), just around the corner, and the nearest bus station, Gent Zuid (most bus lines), a couple of streets away. The room has a very relaxing open atmosphere offering great amenities for you to enjoy. It is about 540 square feet (50 square meters) and has a garden for the kids to play in. The toilet is separated from the bathroom. Towels and linen are provided. Smart Tv & free WiFi. Near Bruges it is ideally situated to visit the many nice places in Flanders

The only shared space is the entrance hall, as I live upstairs. Enjoy comfort and tranquility in the heart of Bruges.

La TOUR a FOLLY in Bruges (free private parking)

The Tower is situated in the historic centre of Bruges, in a quiet neighbourhood at some eight minutes’ walk from the ‘Markt’. In the 18th century the tower was reconstructed as a ‘folly’, characteristic of the period. We are proud to say that our family has supported this heritage for more than 215 years. In 2009 we reconstructed it using refined decoration and catering for all modern conveniences. Last but not least: free private parking in our big garden

The cottage is privately rented but is connected to a B&B. On request, breakfast can be served in your private garden, in your cottage or on your bed. The last renovation of this 16th century Erker house over the water dates from the beginning of 2020, with again preservation of all the authentic, characteristic elements. From your King Size bed you have an exclusive view of the garden and the water (the Bruges Canals) makes your stay complete.

The apartment is situated in the historical heart of Bruges in a very quiet and picturesque street. The railway station is 15 minutes walking, main square 6 minutes. If you travel by car, you can rent a space in our private car park (same address). Magda and Hans worked more than 30 years in the hotel business, a guarantee for a pleasant stay in Bruges.

Our house is located on the border of a residential area in the woods of Hertsberge, very close to Bruges, Gent, Flanders's fields and the coast. One part of the house is where we live, the other part is the one we rent out. Newly redecorated.
