PET FRIENDLY Visitors have chosen the charm of Roanoke Island as their home base while exploring all that the Outer Banks has to offer. This room is located at the Island Guesthouse in Manteo, NC. All rates are based on double occupancy. Additional guest fees may apply. Pre-approved pets are welcome. Pet fees are $40 per pet for the first night and $25 per pet, per night for each additional consecutive night. Please contact us prior to booking to obtain pet approval and review our pet policies.

Located off the beaten path in a quaint, residential neighborhood this gem lies in the middle of local heritage and traditional Hatteras Island vibes. Just a short walk to the beach, legendary surf breaks and the Rodanthe Fishing Pier. Property includes a shared swimmimg pool. Formerly the Sea Sound Motel, this property is still family owned and operated. We are updating the spaces and keeping all the charm!

Enjoy the comforts of our two-bedroom suite which can accommodate 6 people. The suite features a kitchen with a four-burner cooktop (no oven), a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and cookware to make your extended stay feel more like home. Each bedroom offers a queen-sized bed and a full bathroom. Sleeper sofa in the living room. The suite is located on the third floor and offers a balcony view overlooking the pool. The property does not have an elevator.
