The Bothy is an authentic, traditional Highland dwelling, carefully restored to preserve its original features and character while providing essential facilities, warmth and comfort. A farmyard location in the midst of our highland home and in the heart of wild, romantic Perthshire, at the foot of the famous Schiehallion. Two miles from the village of Kinloch Rannoch at the head of the loch, the Bothy is an ideal base for outdoor adventures, observing wildlife or a relaxing escape from the city.

The Bothy, a stunning dog friendly cabin, nestled in the Menteith Hills on an 84 acre farm, offers a magical experience where you can reconnect with nature. No neighbours and uninterrupted 360 degree dramatic views to soak up all day from your south facing deck or wood fired hot tub. Light floods in though the BiFold doors. Luxurious mezzanine bedroom. The Star Hut at Rannoch Station

Rannoch Moor is a place of peace and tranquillity, there is no noise (after the 9.05pm train) and no light pollution. Weather permitting, you can watch the stars and sunrise while lying in bed, see deer walking in the wood, experience being cosy in the midst of dramatic weather or listen to the dawn chorus. This luxury glamping pod has a double bed, ensuite bathroom and its own kitchenette, whilst also benefitting from unrivalled views on Ben Ledi. Unlike many glamping experiences, our pods come with bed linen, towels and basic kitchen utensils provided, so that you can focus on enjoying your stay. The Bothy is a self-contained wooden cabin on the edge of our own woodland at West Cottage and Stables, nestling in the heart of Glen Lyon and at the beginning of many excellent walks and cycle rides. There's a double bed, extra bed, luxury bathroom, and wood burning stove. There's a hob, fridge, and everything you need to cook with, but no oven. We can put something in the oven for you up at the house if you need us to.
