The Honey Barn

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Set in the beautiful Kent countryside off of a country lane overlooking fields with stunning views towards the village of Mersham. Relax and enjoy countryside walks, where you can spot the local farm animals, sheep and lambs in the spring, and the gentle trot of horses along the lane from the nearby stables. Although the honey barn is set in the countryside, you are never far away from local stores and the local pub is a 10-15 minute walk.

Located on a 120 acre farm. The ultimate star gazing pad. The unusual lodging is fully equipped to help you enjoy a excellent and original night. A cosy bed, a toilet, shower, clean towels and a thousand stars over you. Lay in bed turn off the lamps and start counting. The Cowshed Port Lympne benefits from a spacious garden to the rear and amazing views across the fields towards the North Downs area of outstanding natural beauty to the front. A short drive to many beaches, the coastal towns of Hythe and Folkestone (with its Harbour and Pier) and under a mile from Port Lympne Animal Reserve. It is also near many vineyards incl Gusborne and Chapel Down.

Just over an hour from London, find yourself in the heart of the English countryside with beautiful walks, the coast, and historic towns on your doorstep. Lyminge is five miles from the seaside in Hythe. It has a Chemist, Doctors' surgery, a village store, Chinese restaurant, Indian take-way, a Tea Room - which does very nice breakfasts . There are 2 good pubs nearby - the Gatekeeper in Etchinghill and the Tiger in Stowting. Dogs are welcome - one medium size or two small ones.

Wake up to the sound of Bertie the rooster announcing a new day! Relax in the garden watching Dudley the donkey or enjoy a brisk country walk along the many public footpaths in our area - perfect for dog walkers. If you fancy a day trip, you can be in London within an hour or Canterbury in 20 minutes.

Acorn Lodge @ The Oaks Retreat

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. It is The Oaks Retreat, WINNER of the Paris Design awards 2024 'best hospitality interior', an architecturally inspired bespoke woodland Airbnb located in the seaside town of Whitstable. The Acorn Lodge is a bespoke 1 king size bedroom retreat fully customized with high-end finishes. It must be seen in person to be fully appreciated. Our Wellness area is equipped with a log sauna, a cold plunge and outdoor shower.

Historic town of Canterbury is nearby but beach is only a short drive away too. Being just over an hour from London and 10 minutes from the Euro tunnel its ideal for a 'quick stop off' or a 'tranquil get away'.
