Welcome to The Annex @14, a newly renovated ground floor property and great base for exploring historic Dorset and a perfect getaway for two! Self-contained with its own private entrance .The annex is attached to our home at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the village of Crossways near Dorchester. There is a hot tub available for your own exclusive use! In the heart of Hardy Country, ideal for walkers and cyclists. Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, the beautiful sands of Weymouth Bay are close by.

The Old Reading Room West Stafford

The Victorian Reading Room of West Stafford is of historical importance. Used before the war as a Reading Room for the villagers and estate workers, the newspapers were provided, the village shop in the late 1930s, then a workshop and a store room for the church. We have now lovingly restored, decorated and furnished this amazing building into a cosy self catering holiday retreat, "far from the madding crowd" Open plan, comfy double sofabed, wood burner, country walks and fabulous village pub.

Moorhen cabin

Sit back and chill in this calm, stylish space. Moorhen is a newly refurbished cabin in the owner's grounds. Surrounded by open countryside and sitting directly on a bridleway/cycle route 26. It comes with use of the owner's tennis court, boules court and riverbank. In addition to the balcony some areas of the main garden are also for guest use . Within easy reach of Dorchester, Weymouth and the world famous Jurassic coast. Moorhen provides a peaceful base for you to take it easy and explore

Surrounded by nature enjoy views across fields and the water meadows, with the River Piddle flowing through our garden. It’s a haven for wildlife lovers, with plenty of birdlife to watch from your own private balcony. The annex is self-contained, offering privacy and comfort during your stay. Ideal for couples or solo travelers looking to escape the hustle and bustle.

Modern & spacious house in the countryside.

The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

Retreat studio with a terrace

A beautiful new studio in the Dorset countryside with stunning views, a private entrance and a private terrace to relax on. The studio is equipped with an ensuite bathroom and a new kitchenette for your use only. Located opposite the awards winning pub "Thimble Inn" in a friendly village in the scenic Piddle Valley. It is a perfect central location to explore Dorset, with many attractions nearby, only 10min drive to the Cerne Abbas giant or Dorchester and 25min to the Jurassic Coast.

Jasmine Cottage

Jasmine Cottage is a characterful, compact barn conversion, that sits next to the 400 year old farm house. It sleeps up to four people (including infants), with a double and a twin room. We are one mile away from The Wise Man Inn - an award-winning pub; 6 miles from Dorset's stunning Jurassic coast and 3 miles from the county town of Dorchester. You will, however, need a car- or bikes! Sorry, no pets and no smoking. No EV charging, yet, but there are many fast charging points nearby.

Troytown Farm Traditional Shepherd’s Hut Cabin

A bespoke shepherd's hut, made by a local craftsman residing on rolling pasture of a forgotten turf maze and meeting place lost in time. Welcome to the first Troytown shepherd's hut, completed in June 2023. Located on Dorset's famous Jurassic Coastline it is the perfect base for exploring sandy beaches, historic monuments and plentiful walks in nearby Puddletown Forest. Enjoy an off grid cabin experience with views of ancient woodland and sheep grazed pasture.
