The Kitchen/Lounge area is fitted with an Oven, hob, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Includes Microwave, kettle, toaster and is equipped with utensils, dishes, saucepans etc.

Distant views over the Blackwater Estuary & local views over the New Hall Wine Estate, the property is on the edge of the village of Purleigh, about 10 minutes’ walk from an historic pub (The Bell) & shop, where you can pick up supplies. The location is also just next to the 45-mile St Peter’s Way footpath and there is a bus link with the town of Maldon.

Originally built in the mid-19th-century, our delightful property boasts a fascinating past, having once served as the town's smokehouse. Local history suggests it played a vital role as a food store, where bacon was carefully air dried or perhaps where the town's cheesemonger would have stored their finest selections for the shop located in the main building.

The cabin is situated behind our house down a privately owned lane surrounded by woods and farmland. It consists of 1 double bedroom but can easily sleep 2 adults and 2 small children. Cot and highchair available. 2 single airbeds with additional bedding and pillows. It boasts a large patio with quality furniture solely for guests' use. The jacuzzi is an added luxury and £15 is requested during your stay if used. There's a large fully stocked pond Guests are welcome to feed the fish.

The Ashdale Bee is the perfect place to relax and explore the local area of Battlesbridge, a picturesque village in the Crouch Valley. Visit the famous antiques centre, walk or paddle along the river or enjoy some food and drink in one of the many country pubs. Jump on the train and travel along the Crouch Valley line to vineyards, more river walks or the quiet, unspoiled, riverside town of Burnham on Crouch. Alternatively, travel in the opposite direction and London awaits within 40mins.
