Charming historic cottage in the North Kent Downs

Situated in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this 18th century cottage offers a relaxing and comfortable stay with its own private garden. The Kent coast is easily accessible by car (Deal, Folkestone, Hythe & Dungeness) as is the historic town of Canterbury. The house is perfectly located for a short break from London (15-minute taxi from Ashford International) or a stopover when travelling to or from the Continent with the Eurotunnel and Dover Port within 30 minutes drive.

The house is a 5-7 min walk to the beach. Richmond Beach House is in a great location. Waitrose-5 mins away, Addington Street - 3 mins away; which has cafes, a mix of shops and a couple of fabulous bars. The house is light, spacious, full of areas to relax, whether in front of an open fire or relaxing to watch a movie. The kitchen is open plan and chatting whilst cooking is encouraged. There are lots of great restaurants on the doorstep too. It is perfect for families (with kids) and big groups.

It has its own front door and parking on the drive as well as free parking on the street. You can be on the sandy beach in just 2 minutes, a Blue Flag beach meaning it is one of the best beaches in England. We are far enough out of town to be peaceful but only a 10 minute walk along the cliff top to the vibrant town centre.
