There is direct access to the pebble beach opposite and stunning cliff top walks to Reculver and a short seafront stroll into Herne Bay town and amenities. Surrounded by fields and orchards, our self contained, detached annexe makes an ideal retreat for a break in the countryside. You share your stay with our horses and goat who graze in the paddock opposite. It is the perfect base to explore the city of Canterbury, the glorious Kent coast and hotspots Whitstable and Margate (we are conveniently based between them -only a twenty minute drives). Whether you want to relax or explore we offer an ideal spot for families, couples or groups of friends!

Kent home with a view

Annex at the bottom of our garden with its own patio area with views of the pool and garden. Nice quiet area with fields and woodland walks nearby Keys left in door - guests can let themselves in, we are generally around if you have questions There is BBQ area and a heated pool (shared with hosts) for stays of 2 days or more. Please note pool heating is not turned on until about mid-end of May and turned off in September. 5 min to Herne Bay. 15 min to Whitstable 20 min to Canterbury

Located just yards from the sea, The Garden Cottage at Bank Street is accessed via a Grade II listed building, hidden away in a private location. One of the earliest Fisherman's Cottages in this seaside town, The Garden Cottage retains many original features with all the modern conveniences. Meticulously restored in the last 4 years, The Cottage has a large 'Loft style' Master Bedroom, 2nd bedroom (ideal for children), Shower Room, Sitting Room & recently renovated, fully-equipped kitchen.
