Head out on Angles Way and follow the Waveney river valley for an idyllic countryside stroll or take a trip to the beautiful Suffolk coast, then light the fire and curl up under the beams. Featured in a host of magazines, this bucolic abode combines period features and chic, contemporary design. Ivywood cottage is medieval in age, but contemporary in design, with luxurious finishes and fine detailing. The house is in a unique rural setting and was once part of the Gawdy Hall Estate. The house sits next to a beautiful 15th century church, set within a 3 acre church yard. Glorious and plentiful Waveney Valley walks in all directions. Guests have complete privacy and run of the house, including a private garden. We respect our guest's privacy, and are on call for any advice or assistance that you may need during your visit. The cottage is a short picturesque drive from the coastal gems of Southwold and Aldeburgh. Harleston and Bungay are quintessential English towns with charming independent stores, delis, family butchers, bistro cafes, pubs, restaurants, and tea shops. It's the countryside, most people drive. Diss is the mainline station between London and Norwich and is just 15 minutes by car. Cycling is very popular and the cottage is on a regular time trial route. Buses are very reliable and the village is well serviced making it easy to hop between Suffolk and Norfolk villages. There is fabulous walking from the cottage. Located in the Waveney Valley paths such as Angles Way which follows the Waveney river valley are right on your doorstep.

Parking /subject to availability/central to all of Southwold's amenities and direct access to Southwold Common. Pet friendly-perfect for walking and exploring! WIFI (not guaranteed in the event of a breakdown). 8 mins walk to beach, 5 mins walk to pubs/shops! Dunwich, Thorpeness, Aldeburgh, Minsmere and 'Africa Alive' nearby.* Downstairs bathroom*

Set in a large private garden, Owl’s Hoot is part of the Serenity Cottages collection in Suffolk. We can even arrange for a masseuse and personal chef to visit you during your holiday. Nina's Cottage - Southwold

Nina's Cottage is a recently renovated holiday home, perfect for up to 4 people (and furry friends). I've lovingly furnished and decorated it to a high standard to make it the perfect base to explore Southwold and the surrounding areas. The house features a cosy lounge with a log burner, a very spacious kitchen and living space, large master bedroom and king size double bed, a twin bed 2nd bedroom, as well as a fully enclosed garden. Ideally placed only a short walk to the high street and beach.

3 St James Green, Southwold

Cosy cottage in an excellent location, a minute from the beach, within crawling distance of the Sole Bay Inn, with the lighthouse a mere beam away. Three bedrooms: front bedroom has twin beds & views of the lighthouse, two back bedrooms - one with a single bed leading into second room with a queen-sized double. Number of guests is limited to 4. Due to the configuration of the stairs/access to the bathroom, the cottage is not suitable for those with limited mobility/possibly young children.

Cosy Cottage-charming village-3 miles to Southwold

Bright and airy cottage with modern interior in peaceful village just 3 miles from Southwold. Situated off the A12 for easy access to RSPB Minsmere, Dunwich and the Norfolk Broads and only 1 mile from Latitude music festival. Our popular "gastropub" local is only 100m from your door, and a well-stocked village shop with Suffolk-sourced produce and all the essentials is just opposite. There's a farmshop and nursery in the village, plus a children's play area over the road. Enquire for bike hire.

Birdhaven - Large Cottage 6.5 miles from Southwold

Birdhaven is a delightful cottage situated on a quiet lane in the pretty village of Wenhaston, just a few miles from Southwold and the Suffolk Coast & Heaths. This charming self-catering cottage offers cosy accommodation with plenty of natural wonders and attractions nearby. It features lovely views of the surrounding picturesque meadows which offer wonderful sunsets. The cottage has a large garden and driveway offering private parking and the woodburner makes it an ideal cosy winter escape.

The Dairy at Bortons Farm

The Dairy at Bortons Farm is a self-contained annexe attached to the rear of the farmhouse. 15 minutes drive from Southwold, it offers a peaceful rural location but near to the beautiful beaches of Southwold and the busy market town of Beccles. We have 2 bedrooms, a shower room, two toilets and a fully fitted kitchen plus washing machine. Wifi throughout. Enclosed and secure garden. The living area has TV with Sky box and Amazon Fire TV stick. EV charging point available (charges apply)

Our grade II listed 1400c cottage boasting lots of original features and sits within an acre of secure manicured gardens with far reaching countryside views. Conveniently located only 10 miles from Ipswich, 24 miles from the coastal town of Aldeburgh and only 11 miles from the market town of Framlingham and Woodbridge. This really is "home from home" and offers a very comfortable and cosy stay.

Horseshoes Barn is 10 minutes from Southwold, and is surrounded by countryside, with walks straight from the door. It's perfect for couples, families or friends, and for dogs, too! It's a great base for visiting Southwold beach, the shops, restaurants and a walk along the pier, then coming back to the peace and quiet of Uggeshall. We live in the grounds but are very respectful of privacy and strive to ensure you can completely relax and feel at home during your stay.

Dreamers Cottage, Pinkneys Lane, Southwold

Dreamers Cottage is perfectly located, right in the heart of Southwold. Short breaks throughout the year, with a minimum stay of just 2 nights even in high season. The cottage is just steps from the beach, with its traditional colourful beach huts, and so central to Southwold's fantastic cafés, deli's, restaurants, famous pubs & independent shops. Despite all this, the cottage is quiet and not overlooked. Absolutely no pets ever - so allergies are safe.
