Hayloft at The Stables

A 2 bedroom first floor flat with kitchen, cosy living area, and bathroom, above our home on the ground floor. You share our front door, but access the flat through a door to the stairs immediately on entering the hall. Sleeps 4. Bedrooms are in the eaves, so have restricted head room in places. Excellent broadband. It was the hayloft above an old carriage house. A peaceful setting in pretty village, with a pub, a short drive to Diss. We live on the ground floor. Large garden, good parking.

Topcroft is a sleepy village beside the Waveney valley and 25 minutes from the medieval city of Norwich. You'll love this rural location. A large modern kitchen and a real woodburner in the large sitting room. A private patio outside with fairy lights at night, a bbq, firepit and private garden at the back of the property.

The stairs are very steep (see photo). Allocated parking. Bistro table and chairs outside your door, plus a bench right by the water. Old Post Office Stable

Old Post Office Stable sits in the heart of a conservation area on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Thorpe Abbotts is home to the 100th Bomber Group Museum. They say that the squaddies mailed their love letters back home at the Old Post Office ! 40 mins to the coast, Lowestoft, Gt Yarmouth, Southwold,, with shopping in Norwich, Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds. 10 mins drive from Diss train station with a direct line to London. The Norfolk Broads only 15 mins in the lovely market town of Beccles.

Perfect for reactive dogs. Up to two large or three medium dogs welcome (even on the bed - we provide throws). A perfect getaway under the stars. Wonderful wood-fired hot tub available (for a fee).
