Old Jack's - 17th Century cottage + stunning view

The Smithy at Cross Pipes, Goathland

The Smithy is a self contained stone built cottage situated on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. It was built in the 1800’s and was originally one of two blacksmiths serving the community of Goathland. The Smithy offers you a comfortable base to visit the local area. Spacious studio accommodation with a king sized bed in a recessed area, walk in shower and toilet, full kitchen facilities, wood burning stove, TV and Wi-Fi. Cosy rural cottage in National Park

Come and stay in the beautiful village of Rosedale Abbey in the spectacular North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Moo’s is our converted stone cottage with a lovely living kitchen with cast iron stove and a vintage country feel. A handmade turned staircase leads up to the en-suite bedroom with metal bed stead and roll top bath. Adjacent there is a spacious covered patio area with seating, dining and storage, which looks across to an outdoor patio with fruit trees seating and parking space.

Hilda Cottage is a 17th Century dwelling. The front door enters to the living area, downstairs is the equipped kitchen with large table. Upstairs is a double bedroom (WC ensuite) with sea views, and main bathroom, up the final flight of stairs is the loft bedroom (double bed & single bed) and sea views! The stairs are narrow & steep, see photos. If you're after old and quaint, Hilda is your girl, if you're after brand new, she probably isn't 💗 Parking permit for nearby car park.

You can enjoy uninterrupted views sitting at the bottom of the garden which is your own space. The Annex dates back to the 16th century and is full of charm. You can walk from our Annex straight up onto the Cleveland way where you can walk or bike for miles. Our Annex is a popular stop off for people walking the coast to coast.
