The good news is that we can now offer guests ferry travel discounts, full details available in host booking confirmation sent. Bembridge is a lovely coastal village on the eastern tip of the Isle of Wight, surrounded by beaches a quirky harbour with working fishing boats. The village has a real sense of community with a village hall for events, a butchers, bakers, fishmongers, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The Bembridge RNLI Lifeboat reinforces the respect the village has for its history.

Converted loft with kingsized mattress accessed by electric staircase, fully sprung kingsized sofa bed in lounge area. The deck includes BBQ, sunken seating area, fire pit, pontoon, and slipway for launching small boats, canoes, paddle boards and paddling. It's a great spot to watch visiting birds in Autumn/Winter. This is a pet free property. The creek is tidal.

Unique English Heritage Escape in *Bembridge* IOW

'The Annexe' forms part of the main residence built on the old parade ground of Steyne Wood Battery. The Battery was built on the eastern coastline of the Isle of Wight and became a scheduled monument in 2015, being one of the best surviving Victorian Batteries and, as such, all the bomb proof shelters, ammunition stores, gun positions and defensive structures in the surrounding grounds remain intact. The grounds around the property provide a peaceful escape in beautiful surrounds.

A light and airy wooden chalet accessed by a path through a fully fenced orchard with seating and a fire pit ideal for catching the last of the evening sun. Dogs are welcome and can be walked within the 8 acres of farmland which extends to the Eastern River Yar and includes a wildlife pond. The chalet is well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. If you’re lucky you’ll wake up to a Red Squirrel. 5 Pygmy goats in Sue’s garden next door are sure to amuse you.
