Located just 3 miles from the book-lover's haven of Hay-on-Wye, famous for its literary festival and easygoing charm, it is the perfect place to escape to.

Our beautiful beamed attached cottage complete with log burner is set in over 3 acres of private ancient woodland, in the Forest of Dean near the River Wye. The garden path leads down to a secluded orchard which is a haven for birds, deer & wildlife. The cottage is located in a quiet country lane, with walks to our local pubThe Ostrich Inn and town. We are close to all ammenities, cycle trails, river activities and the best of what the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley has to offer.

A fabulous, surprisingly spacious, terraced stone built Cotswolds holiday cottage set in the lovely rural parish of Rodborough. We've been busy with guests since completely refurbishing the cottage in 2011 - exposing beautiful stone walls, opening up the views, letting in more light, installing a wood-burner, and generally introducing modern contemporary comforts we like when we go on holiday. Please note we can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children (plus babies).

Downstairs there is a sunny double bedroom and a shower room, upstairs a double height open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen, dining table, sitting/tv area with far ranging views across open fields and a stable door opening out onto the back garden with outside sitting/eating area and mature apple trees. A bridlepath runs outside the window where horses and dogs roam.

It has been tastefully furnished to a high standard with a Hot tub and private patio area with a BBQ. The cottage has everything you need to ensure you have a perfect stay. We have direct access onto the Monmouthshire/Brecon canal and the cycle path which is ideal if your bringing a furry friend with you as we are super dog friendly
