Idyllic rural cottage with beautiful views

Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 250 year old Wise Cottage has a boutique feel and sweeping views. Situated in a beautiful village near Shaftesbury, Dorset. The cottage sleeps four, 1 large master bedroom with a super kingsize bed and a small bedroom with adult bunks (plus a guest bed for a fifth guest). Well behaved dogs are welcome! Organic toiletries, bath robes, well equipped kitchen, wood burner, super fast Wifi, garden and beautiful walks straight out of the front door.

Little Coombe

Little Coombe welcomes all couples, lone travellers and fellow pooches. Little Coombe is a totally self-contained cottage attached to the main cottage, where the owner lives. It is a tranquil stone cottage sitting by the brook in a small hamlet near Shaftesbury. The cottage was formerly two thatched farm cottages and where our family has lived for nearly 100 years! We live next door in the main cottage, but guests will have their own entrance and garden space and their privacy is guaranteed.

The Cartshed, Cranborne Chase National Landscape

The Cartshed is a converted barn located in the stunning Tarrant Valley. Tastefully decorated throughout, the living room boasts a Swedish log burner and bifold doors out onto your own garden. Talbot Cottage is a delightful newly renovated two-bedroom single-story cottage, in seven acres of garden and fields. You have your own entrance, wheelchair friendly. The self-catering cottage is in a unique gated courtyard near the foot of Gold Hill and is within a short walk of the town centre and a local pub. It is compact and therefore suitable for singles and couples (I do not accept 3rd party bookings), and we also welcome well-behaved pets. You will have use of a private enclosed garden a short walk from the cottage, and on-street parking is available nearby.

Really comfortable and warm converted stables next to our main house but with privacy, standing in idyllic private valley. Less than 2 miles from Shaftesbury. The cottage overlooks our small lake (about 1/2 acre). Peaceful countryside with buzzards, woodpeckers, a barn owl, ducks, pheasants, deer and even otters. See them at your breakfast table or in our enclosed veranda with circular table and overhead heater. Well behaved small / medium dogs only - strictly by prior agreement.
