The perfect retreat for couples, walkers and nature lovers looking for a peaceful tech-free getaway. Local village shops, cafes, and two cosy gastro / real ale pubs. 15 minute drive to the Victorian seaside town of Ventnor with lots of places to eat out, the Island's finest butchers, and little shops selling local crafts and produce, records and antiques. No wifi !

Seashore Chalet

Welcome to Seashore Chalet, based at Sandown Bay Holiday Centre, set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Just a short ten minute walk away from the lovely safe sandy beaches of Yaverland. Enjoy beautiful views up towards Culver Down and out across the bay. The nearby town of Sandown with its shops and restaurants and bars can be reached along the promenade, a short drive or 35 minute walk passing the Isle of Wight Zoo on the beach and the Dinosaur Isle museum. No facilities on site .

Bay Cottage

This snug little one bedroomed accommodation sits up high with views of both Shanklin and Luccombe bays from each side. This property is ideal for walkers or cyclists as it sits just off the coastal path and is also close to the bridle path leading up to the Downs. There is a bus stop at the end of the lane for easy access to the rest of the Island. The accommodation is 15-20 minutes walk to several different beaches and 15 minutes walk to a number of restaurants pubs and eateries.

Dog friendly and with free wifi and electricity, Fossils Retreat sits just back from the cliff path in a quiet and peaceful location with views across the landscape and out to sea. Recently refurbished, our chalet will suit a family or a couple who love the outdoor life and enjoy views over Sandown Bay and the adjoining Downland. Our chalet has a sun deck with chairs, and receives the Sun from early morning. Its a great place for an early coffee listening to the natural world waking up.

A lovely beach inspired chalet with modern decor and facilities. Comes fully equipped for everything you need for 4 people. A peaceful green site above Yaverland beach in an AONB. The site is quiet with no onsite facilities. It opens onto the coastal path with beautiful walks & scenery. We accept well behaved dogs one large or two small. The chalet is a 5-10 minute walk to the large sandy beach (dog friendly). Amenities & attractions nearby. Welcome pack on arrival.

If you are looking for a tranquil accommodation then Sea La Vie @ Chalet 18 can offer you this. Set out in neutral colour schemes throughout with a touch of nautical thrown in. Tastefully of course. Sleeps four comfortably. The main bedroom has a double bed and the little room of the two has two single beds. There is a washing machine so no need to do all that washing once home!! Bedding and 2 towels are supplied per guest as is 2 tea towels

Approximately 7 minutes walk from Hayling Island seafront which has a fish and chip shop, ice cream shop, several pubs and cafes, a fairground and a tourist train going along the beachfront. Also convenient for the sailing club, or anyone looking for a base to explore the south coast.
