Sunset Beach Cottage

Completely remodeled three bedroom two bath home steps from the sand in Sunset Beach! This brand new rehab comes completely furnished with state of the art appliances, flat-screen tv’s and a washer/dryer. Sleeping accommodations include a king bed in the master bedroom, queen bed in second bedroom, a trundle bed in the third bedroom and convertible couch in the living room. All rooms have blinds and portable heater’s and fans. This amazing rental will comfortably sleep six adults and two kids.

Orchard House Retreat

(Feb 2025- The Topanga village and homes were spared from the Palisades fire) Welcome to Orchard House Retreat! This 700 sqft private house is in an ancient oak forest in Topanga Canyon near Topanga State Park, the village and the beach! It’s a charming 1 bedroom 1 bath with a cozy living/dining space, modern kitchen and a deck. There’s a well stocked kitchen and orchard. Please note there are two sets of stairs up to the Retreat so being able to climb stairs is necessary. Please see photos.

Pirates of the Caribbean Getaway

Soak up groovy Topanga vibes and commune with nature at the Pirates of the Caribbean Getaway freestanding guest home. Highlights include lush tropical landscaping, private lawn, furnished decks, hot tub and sauna, an outdoor bathtub and shower, a queen size bed, and large flat screen TV. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, mini fridge, toaster oven, electric stovetop, and Keurig coffee maker. Pirates can accommodate up to 2 adult guests but no children or pets.

Studio Cottage

This is a small Studio cottage at the rear of my home. It's craftsmanesk in style with a partially open ceiling and a skylight. It's perfect for a couple or single person. There is a swimming pool but it's not heated, fine for swimming June to Oct depending on the weather, unless you are a polar bear. It's a 5 min walk to the MetroGold Line and a 10 min walk to new restaurants on Figueroa St. I have a fairly extensive cactus / succulent garden.

Franklin Hills is a family-oriented neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, but close to the hiking, shops, and food in Silver Lake, Los Feliz, Griffith Park, and downtown LA. Peace and serenity in the city.

Very quite and a perfect retreat for a single person or couple, or we have had several writers use it as a writing retreat.

It is the perfect spot for couples, small families, business travelers and solo adventurers seeking both short and long-term accommodations! It is your home away from home. Dogs are allowed (maximum 2 ) $125 for one $175 for 2 dogs. Sorry no cats.

The beach cottage is conveniently located in the heart of Orange County, 5 minutes away from John Wayne Airport and South Coast Plaza- largest shopping center on the West Coast, and about 15 minutes from local beaches such as: Newport, Huntington and Laguna, and only 15 miles from Disneyland.

The Venice Love Lodge

This newly remodeled little love nest, in the heart of Venice, is a cozy cottage (400 square feet). It’s just a 15 minute walk to the famous Venice Boardwalk and beach, and 10 minutes to the trendy and eclectic Abbott Kinney Blvd, great shopping and dinning!
