Private Casita at the Desert River Farm

We are located on a 2.75 acre homestead property just south of Albuquerque in a small agricultural community. It is a perfect retreat space for those looking to get away but stay close to amenities. We live in an 1890 adobe home that shares the property with the casita and we have quiet and friendly neighbors. We have a handful of fruit trees, a hoop house where we are growing vegetables, and a wild 1 acre field. The property is fully fenced with private parking right outside the casita.

We are located on the popular corrales acequia (waterway) which you can walk/bike to the farmers market, bistros, wineries, breweries, shops and the Rio Grande Bosque and river. Our 500 sqft casita has all the amenities you need with the coziness of your own modern farmhouse. We live in the home next door and are happy to help with anything you need. No Oven/Stove due to Corrales Rules.

Little House Among The Trees

My Partner and I offer this 500 sq foot Solar house. It's self contained, secluded, quiet and secure. There are 5 dogs in the Main house but they use a doggie door to come and go. You might see them wandering the property but they have never been in the little house so if you have any allergies this should not be an issue for you. The hens and ducks are fenced on the back of the property. PLEASE --- Send (with words) a Check-In "Time" with your FIRST communication.

Originally constucted circa 1900 as a farm house, La Casita has been utilized as a short term rental for the past 15 years. This adorable one bedroom casita features eco-friendly products, classy Deco decorating, and an extra cozy Keetsa king bed. The combination of minimal aesthetics with just the right flashy Deco touch creates a cozy, inviting interior. The Casita is completely private and is heated and cooled by mini-splits in the living room and bedroom. There is secure parking for a sedan style vehicle, but it cannot accommodate larger vehicles like large trucks or SUVs.
