Charming guest house in stunning wooded valley

Our beautiful guest house is surrounded by stunning countryside - just waiting to be walked or cycled. It comfortably sleeps two (but has a travel cot for little ones) with an open plan kitchen and cosy living area, plus bathroom. Outside is a sunny garden area with table and seating. The space is really light with lots of windows and oak features. Lots of thought and love have gone into decor to make it a really lovely space. The apartment is separate from the main house and very private.

Nestled in historic Old Stroud, local legend has it that two brothers shared the bigger house but needed separate homes when one of them married, so Corner Cottage and 2 Trinity Road were born. Packed with original features, stone walls, oak beams and wonky elm wooden floorboards, Corner Cottage oozes old world charm. Relax after a day in the Cotswolds or visiting local sights, warming yourself in front of the fire.

Moments from gorgeous National Trust common land. Three pubs, a hotel and a shop/café in the church within 5-20 minutes' walk. Step-free access via garden.

Parking is to the front of the property, if this is limited then there is a free car park in the village 300m away.

The beautiful Slad valley is 25 min walk from the studio and the newly renovated Stroud canal , only 10 min. There are several Pubs within walking distance the nearest only 100 yards down the road. Greencourt Loft is a self contained, comfortable and luxurious coach house room situated in the beautiful and quiet village of Middleyard, on the edge of the Cotswold Escarpment in-between Stroud and Stonehouse. Just a few miles from J13 of the M5, we are in an area of outstanding natural beauty with access to open common land and ancient woodland, where mountains bikers, runners walkers and horse riders can all enjoy outdoor activities. The famous Cotswold Way runs close to the property.

The Garden Studio Graywalls Stroud

5 mins walk from Stroud train station, the wood clad Garden Studio is airy and modern and surrounded by green. It overlooks our garden, and apart from the trains (only 2 an hour) it’s peaceful but also so close to the pretty hilly town of Stroud. The bustling farmers market on a Saturday is a great fun and the commons and walks are spectacular. There is parking on our drive. To get to the studio walk down the gravel pathway past our front door. The key hold is by the studio door.

Ideal for dogs to exercise. It is close to stunning Cotswold way walks and great pubs and is well located for visits to many cotswold attractions. It has strong wifi also making it a tranquil place to work from home.
