St John’s Jailhouse by the Castle

Immerse yourself in a bygone era at St John's Jailhouse, perched just steps away from Stirling's most legendary attractions. Dating back to c.1775, our spacious 3 bedroom apartment has recently been meticulously restored to celebrate its rich history going back 250 years, whilst offering a luxuriously modern living experience. Situated in the heart of the old town, the Castle, Tolbooth and Old Town Jail are right on your doorstep, with the city's top restaurants and bars just a short walk away.

Centrally situated in Stirling; this charming, well-designed apartment places you within a 5-minute walk of the train and bus station, as well as shops and restaurants, keeping everything close at hand. The space comfortably suits 3 guests, but easily accommodates 4. It is fully equipped to ensure a comfortable stay. The location is an excellent base for exploring the city by foot. Free on-street parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with additional paid parking nearby.

East Lodge Cabin on the Loch

Welcome to our Cabin on the Loch. Our custom built cabin on stilts over the pristine Loch Venachar. Situated in the heart of the Trossachs, not far from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. It is a totally private secret escape. This is truly a place to relax and to get away from it all. Just sit on the deck, or take a stroll along the banks of the Loch. The cabin sleeps 2 people and is totally private. A wonderful location for fishing, walking and cycling, (or just chilling).

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.

Whether you want to explore the wilds of the Scottish Highlands, see the fishing villages along the coast of the East Neuk of Fife, visit the buzzing capital city of Edinburgh or historic Stirling, from Barley Mill it’s an easy drive to them all

Argyll Retreat by Lock Eck. Argyll Forest Park.

Open all year. For couples, 2 friends or solo travellers . Dogs are very welcome. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains.
