The Little Hop House, a cosy one bedroom barn

The Little Hop House is a beautifully restored 250 year old building expertly converted from an Old Hop store to a one bedroom annex. It has a well equipped kitchen, living room, large bedroom and bathroom, making this unique space perfect if you are working in the area, a weekend get away or visiting the beautiful historic city of Cambridge. A log burner and under floor heating will ensure your stay is cosy and snug even in the winter months. It is not suitable for babies or young children x

Also within easy reach of the beautiful, historic cities of Cambridge and St Albans while London is a 35 minute train journey from the local station. Significant sites of Knebworth, Hatfield House and Bletchley Park all close by. A perfect mix of peace, interest and convenience.

Minimum 2 nights. Relax at this peaceful place to stay. Dbl bedroom, lge lounge with 2 full size single beds. 4 guests maximum. 2 Adults and 2 children. We accept 4 adults but there is an extra charge of £20 per night. wet room, kitchen. Tea/coffee . Combi oven . Private patio area for guests, we back onto the RSPB, 5 mins Shuttleworth. Lovely walks. Train 5 mins walk. We do not accept pets. local shops have baker, butchers and eaterys/takeaways, tesco and co-op. Nice local walks .

The property is suited to a small family of 4 or working persons requiring a lovely home away from home while in the area for work or visiting family and friends. The property is located 22 miles from Cambridge and 10 miles from Bedford. The Thames Link train runs every 30 minutes to Finsbury Park and is a 10-minute walk from the property. The property has one car parking space but ample free parking in the area.

Comfortable and Cozy One Bed

Everything you require for a relaxing stay. All pubs, restaurants are in walking distance. It’s a 3 minute walk or so to Biggleswade Train Station which takes 34 minutes to London Kings Cross. Local town markets on Wednesday and Saturday. If your driving, then it takes 7 minutes from the A1M motorway. Please note you will find some personal items of mine in the flat as I live here too when not working away from home. I do not stay at the flat when guests are there.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Charming and peaceful village location. Self catering annexe, perfect for one or two people. Adjoining, yet separate to the main house, the Pavilion is so-called as the garden was once the village bowling green. Delightful views of National Trust Tudor dovecote and stables. A perfect base for riverside walks, cycling and water sports. Mainline train stations Bedford and Sandy are 15 minutes drive away.
