Peaceful shepherd's hut near Chagford, Dartmoor

Quiet, peaceful & private Shepherds hut and cabin set in its own area of land on a farm, in beautiful landscape 1 mile from the charming and characterful village of Chagford, which has most amenities. Ideal for a relaxing retreat in nature, cosy and warm. Next to the hut is a cabin containing kitchen facilities, shower, washbasin, and seperate compost loo. Space for additional tent or camper van. Lots to do nearby, such as Scorhill stone circle, Fernworthy resevoir, walks in stunning landscape.

Perfect for walkers, the village of Belstone is on the north edge of Dartmoor National Park, yet only 5 minutes from the A30. Sheep and ponies graze freely through the village, and as you walk past the excellent Tors Inn the moor opens up giving access to hiking, biking and horse riding activities. Once you have arrived in Belstone you can leave your car and simply enjoy the walks and outdoor pursuits Dartmoor has to offer. Okehampton with it's range of shops is an easy 10 minute drive away.

The Old Barn at Monks Withecombe

The Old Barn at Monks Withecombe is 1 mile outside Chagford in the Dartmoor National Park. It has its own private sun trap garden for guests' use + beautiful gardens and meadows with views to Dartmoor. 1 dog allowed = £25 BABIES UNDER ONE YEAR OLD (pre-walking) are welcome. Monks Withecombe is 25 minutes from Exeter off the A30. The Old Barn is across the flower filled courtyard from the main house at Monks. Springfield Cottage - Cosy Medieval Hall House

Springfield Cottage is a few steps away from the centre of Chagford, a unique and historic town on Dartmoor. One of oldest properties in the town, it is a warm and welcoming house full of period features dating back to medieval times, including a large inglenook fireplace. A small frontage with lots behind! It has all modern comforts including a fully equipped kitchen and a separate wet-room style shower room with under-floor heating. Off-road parking (better suited to small to mid sized cars).

Fingle Farm

A delightful one bedroom chalet near to the picturesque village of Drewsteignton. The chalet is located within a small holding with the family home close by. The property is within close proximity to the A30 and within 16 miles of Exeter Airport. The self contained chalet comprises a double bed, fully equipped kitchen and shower room. Wi-Fi. We do have a number of animals on the small holding, which are kept in a separate area. The chalet is popluar with walkers on the Two Moors Way close by.

Just over 2 miles from Chagford, on the edge of the moor is Kestor, a stunningly beautiful Dartmoor Tor. Just half a mile from there is Brimstone Down and our beautiful Annex. With its fabulous outlook that catches the morning sunrise and views across Chagford and Castle Drogo. The Annex is completely self contained with open plan bedroom with fully stocked wood burner & patio doors into the garden. With private bathroom & kitchenette with fridge, induction hob & combi microwave.

The Barn, West Ford Farm

The Barn is part of an historic farmstead. It was built from cob and stone in the 18th century and sits in a peaceful valley, a lovely place to get away from it all and enjoy the glorious Devon country side. It is on the edge of Dartmoor and next to the Two Moors Way. The pretty village of Drewsteignton is a couple of miles away with it's pub The Drewe Arms. The National Trust's Castle Drogo is half a mile beyond that. The Drogo Estate has beautiful walks along the River Teign
