Welcome to our bright, cozy, mid-mod beach apartment! Just a short walk or drive from the pier and beach, 2 blocks from the best coffee shop in town, and a short walk to downtown with all the restaurants & shops you can imagine. This is the perfect place to kick back, relax, and make yourself at home in beautiful Ventura. Enjoy ocean views and sunsets, beautiful, bright light, and a clean, minimal space somewhere between boho and mid-mod. Our hope is that you'll feel cozy and right at home.

Ventura Getaway

Our place is a half mile from downtown Ventura, the beach, great surf, the Botanical Garden hiking trail and the famous Ventura Cross. There are plenty of dining options/bars within walking distance, a convenient market and our favorite trendy coffee spot right across the street. If you are a couple looking for a beach get away, solo adventurer, business traveler or a family looking for a fun place to stay right in the heart of Ventura, you will love it here!

Located downtown and a walkable distance to the beach. Boutiques, antique shopping, dining, and sandy beaches are all within walking distance. There is a wonderful farmer's market 1/2 block away Thursday afternoons. A short drive away, are polo fields, museums, zoological gardens, Ventura and Santa Barbara missions, Santa Ynez wine country, the Ojai Valley, and so much more. Carpinteria is a jewel on the West Coast! Come, stay, enjoy, and return often!

Mama Dux - A Sumptuous Urban Sanctuary

Sweet cocoon in the heart of fun, steps to beach, Funk Zone and restaurants. Mama Dux is on the ground floor with large private patio, fenced deck, large bedroom with king bed, attached living room with comfortable couch bed, a fully stocked kitchen, 2 HDTVs, High Speed WiFI, washer, dryer, bathroom with shower that has incredible pressure, AC, Heater, on-site free parking for one car. The apartment covers 630 square feet (60 square meters).

NO DOGS. Enjoy ocean views from every room in this one-bedroom apartment with a loft. You can comfortably sleep 5–there’s a queen bed in the bedroom, a queen bed that can be curtained off in the living room, and a twin bed in the loft space above. Park in your own spot and walk 0.6 miles to Leadbetter beach or enjoy all of the restaurants at the harbor. Watch the sunset from the private patio while sipping a glass of Santa Barbara Syrah.

Mountain View from bedroom window and only steps to one of California’s premiere family friendly beaches. Quick walk to world famous “the Spot” burgers but really, it’s all about the beach, it’s like so close! Walking trails in the wetlands are close too, the kids love exploring there. Carp’s got some cool restaurants too, our favorite is Teddy’s by the Sea. Partly because our dog is named Teddy but food’s pretty good too!

Apt 2: Luxury 2 bedroom 2 bath, steps to beach

This luxury 1st floor apartment was recently remodeled. The Tropic Shores apartments are a quiet, lushly landscaped 16-unit complex and one of the finest properties in Carpinteria. Your apartment, with its own private patio / garden area, is located steps away from one of the the nicest beaches in California. Step on the sand and turn right, and you'll enter a beach area where you and your dog can walk.

Private 1 bdrm with Qn bed. Separate entrance, Kitchenette (no stove) patio with table & umbrella. Futon that can sleep 2 kids or 1 adults snuggly, (Please Let Me Know if you want the futon made into a bed it needs extra padding to sleep on) TV & internet. Hiking, Biking, 10 minutes to the beach and downtown Ventura. Pets are welcome. Please note that this space shares a wall with the main house.
