Be steeped in the rustic splendor of this charming log cabin boasting smart furnishings and enchanting decor all enveloped in knotty hardwood paneling and exposed beams. After hitting the nearby Rocky Mountain National Park attractions or historic mountain towns, cozy up beside a stone fireplace with a cup of tea. This authentic log cabin, built in the 20's, remodeled in the 50's, has all the fun of a cabin with all the comforts of a modern home. With original 50's decor and furniture, except for the new beds, mattresses and bedding, you'll feel you've stepped back in time! Build puzzles by the fire, watch the snow fall from bed, and enjoy the peace and wildlife of the Rocky Mountains! I am about an hour away but can come to the cabin if I'm needed. Nestled among pines, the cabin is set at the base of Mount Meeker. It's a 5-minute drive from Rocky Mountain National Park. A short walk away is a seasonal lodge that’s open from May to September which offers horseback riding and a convenience store. The sofa bed in the living room is a full, the sofa bed in the den is a queen.

Located 15 minutes from Estes Park Downtown, the cabin is nestled in the archway to the Rocky Mountains. During your stay, enjoy a view of Mount Meeker and partial view of Longs Peak, as well as the relaxing sound of a creek. You will be minutes away from trailheads to waterfalls, bike trails around Lake Estes, and casual shopping and dining in Estes Park. Conveniently, the cabin is located off of Hwy 7, for easy access from the Denver-Boulder area. 4WD/AWD recommended in winter/spring.

Serene, Spacious Unit in a Gorgeous Setting

The Hosts: We're quite literally a mom-and-pop operation, no soulless corporate management company here, just real people. This is our one and only listing, we live on-site. The Space: Attached but completely locked off and private apartment with separate entry on gorgeous mountain property. Cozy, quiet and spacious. Minutes from the National Park and downtown. Well- appointed kitchenette includes induction range top, large toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, and full refrigerator.
