A Self-contained fully furnished 1st floor 1 Bed flat attached to main house which has its own private entrance. It’s situated in a quiet residential cul-de-sac within easy access to the A130 and A12. 15 minutes from Broomfield hospital. Nearby is the park and ride to Chelmsford town and mainline station. The Kitchen/Lounge area is fitted with an Oven, hob, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Includes Microwave, kettle, toaster and is equipped with utensils, dishes, saucepans etc.

The Cartlodge

The Cartlodge is a well presented suite, comprising of a cosy sitting room with 50 inch LED smart TV, bedroom with comfortable king-sized bed and spacious shower room. Stylishly decorated with quality furnishings. Located in a rural village with country pub. Ideal base for many local wedding venues, 23 miles from Stansted airport, just 2.4 miles from Witham mainline railway station (40 mins to London). Little Braxted is situated 12 miles north of Chelmsford and 14 miles south of Colchester.

St George’s Cosy Cabin with Jacuzzi Hot Tub

The cabin is situated behind our house down a privately owned lane surrounded by woods and farmland. It consists of 1 double bedroom but can easily sleep 2 adults and 2 small children. Cot and highchair available. 2 single airbeds with additional bedding and pillows. It boasts a large patio with quality furniture solely for guests' use. The jacuzzi is an added luxury and £15 is requested during your stay if used. There's a large fully stocked pond Guests are welcome to feed the fish.

The Pickers' Lodge

Based on the outskirts of Chelmsford this unique cabin sits on a working fruit farm. It offers a peaceful setting to work from or relax in which overlooks a small plum orchard. Just a short walk away you can pick up supplies from Lathcoats Farm Shop or use The Bee Shed Coffee House for breakfast or lunch. The Picker's Lodge offers a kettle, toaster, microwave and everything you need for something quick and easy in the evening or visit a local pub or restaurant, plenty to choose from!

Barge View apartment is an independent living space in the heart of Maldon. Offering amazing views over the River Blackwater there is no place quite like it, in fact the river front and iconic Thames barges are just a stone’s throw away! The beautiful Prom Park is also on the doorstep perfect for photography or exercise. There are numerous places to eat with many restaurants and pubs a few minutes walk away. Boutique cabin in countryside setting in the beautiful peaceful village of Little Baddow, a picturesque village in Essex. 10 minutes by car from the city of Chelmsford and 15 minutes from coastal town of Maldon. The village itself has 2 pubs and lots of walking routes nearby. Paper Mill Lock is a pleasant 30 min walk and has water sport facilities and tea room. Footpath maps available. Travel cot or single fold out guest bed avail on request, no additional cost.

Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra steps to clean & sanitise frequently touched surfaces between reservations. Five mins Chelmsford City Racecourse, 4 mins Hatfield Peverel train station to London, 25 mins Stansted Airport, 30 mins Colchester. Oakwrights is in the middle of Chelmsford, Braintree and Witham all only 10 mins drive.

Perfectly located in a peaceful haven, only a 5 minute walk to Maldon's high street with it's vast array restaurants, cafes and bars as well as many boutique shops. Beautiful walks from Maldon including Beeleigh falls. There is also the renowned Maldon Promenade to visit. Offering a self contained annexe split over two floors. Clean towels, fresh bed linen and toiletries are provided as well as a coffee machine, tea, sugar and milk, TV and WFI.
