The lovely gardens are home to numerous fruit & nut trees, and shared by the owners resident donkeys, chickens and 5 rescue cats.

Breathe in the fresh air and delight in the silence. Equidistant between Poitiers and Limoges with charming smaller towns nearby and kayaking on the beautiful Vienne river.

Le Gite No 2 sleeps 4

Welcome to our Gite, simply named Le Gite No 2! Over the past year we have brought this old building back to life with a total re-fit and makeover. Gite is in an amazing location with lots to do and see. Your hosts are Mark and Agnieszka, and, between us, we speak English, French, Polish and a little German. We are here to make your stay with us happy and relaxing, while you create wonderful memories! We live next door to the Gite and therefore, should you need help, we are on hand 24/7.

Ma Jolie Petite Maison

Set in the heart of Verteuil a petite citie de caractere in the Charente we welcome you to Ma jolie petite maison, a one double bedroomed gite that sleeps 4. The building is over 200 years old and has been completely refurbished in 2024. With exposed stone walls and original fireplaces, lit by vintage French chandeliers and tasteful wall lights, the gite is both cosy and comfortable. During your stay you will have exclusive use of the heated swimming pool and a large Moroccan style barn.

Gîte des Roses

Gîte des Roses is situated in a tranquil village, with amenities close by, a bar, grocery shop/coffee shop, fuel pumps, electric charging station, taxi, post office & church. Bigger towns are 15 mins drive with lots of restaurants, street cafes, water sports, brocantes, wine tasting, & large supermarkets. Horse riding, cycling, chateau tours, can all be booked locally. Relax with the whole family in this peaceful place to stay, yet a short distance takes you to more lively going’s on.

Ce logement paisible offre un séjour de détente entre amis ou en famille Nous avons équipé le logement pour passer un agréable séjour que cela soit à l’intérieur comme des jeux de société, livres, TV, appareil à raclette, crêpes party… Soit à l’extérieur avec son jardin, son jacuzzi ouvert toute l’année Un terrain de pétanque (boule de pétanque et Molkky à disposition) et un barbecue avec son coin repas et salon extérieur couvert.
