Dutch House Barn (with sauna)

Dutch House Barn (DHB) was lovingly restored during 2023/4 in the Suffolk tradition, using reclaimed materials. As from July 2025 the property includes an original and now renovated 1970's Finnish sauna. DHB is an annex to Dutch House, where I live with Sue, my wife of 51 years and Poppy our dog, who is now 11. Pegasus Cottage is our cosy holiday home nestled in a peaceful lane in Walberswick. Built after the war as a Swedish wooden house, there are beautiful walks in every direction, to the sea, the river, the marshes, the woods and of course into the iconic village itself. The cottage is our own homely but treasured holiday retreat so is comfortable, personal and a little frayed around the edges. We love sharing it with like-minded people.
