The house has been owned by the same family for the last 40 years, it has been modernised over the years making it feel like a home from home. We feel that The Lane is arguably the best and most characterful location on the island. If you are a seafood enthusiast you couldn’t be better situated as The Company Shed is a 5 minute walk away. It’s walking distance to the beach and sea wall. The village 15 minute walk away with restaurants, cafes & shops. Bikes are a good way to get around the island

Enjoy a break in our newly refurbished 2 bedroomed Mid Terraced house with the beach being at the bottom of the road - 1 minute walk away. Our house is in walking distance to Clacton town for restaurants/cafes/pubs and Pier. 30 mins drive from Colchester & Harwich Ferry Port. The house has 1 DB bedroom, 1 bedroom with adult size bunk beds, kitchen/diner, bathroom, living room with a 55" TV and free Wifi. Fully Electric. Private parking. A lovely three bedroom house situated in the heart of West Mersea village. With a short walk to the beach, this is a perfect island escape from city life! This house is in a fantastic and peaceful location with an abundance of amenities on the door step! There are various activities to take part in on Mersea Island including water sports and much more. There are no shortage of restaurants on the Island which offer fantastic food and Mersea Island's world famous Oysters!

The Moorings: 3 bed house in historic Lane.

Located in the historic and picturesque Anchorage area of beautiful Mersea Island the house is in a quiet and tranquil lane, with the sea a moments distance away. 50 Yards at the end of the lane turn left for pubs and restaurants and turn right to find the sea wall, with opportunities for bird watching and scenic dog walks. The property sleeps 5/6 people and has an enclosed garden with seating and bbq, there is also a large lockable shed for any outdoor equipment.

Idyllic house and gardens on estuary

A beautiful large farmhouse, dating from approximately 1600 and listed Grade II, in acres of idyllic gardens and overlooking a mile-wide river estuary. There is direct access from the bottom of the garden onto the ‘sea wall’ along the river, for walks and wonderful birdwatching. There is a duckpond (fenced) by the house and chickens (collect the eggs), and a large summerhouse with veranda in the garden, as well as a paddock of alpacas!
