The village is surrounded by farmland, walking and cycling tracks, two pubs closeby and a well stocked village store with locally sourced eggs, meats and fresh bakery items

The Garden Wing is a very special tranquil place

This unique place has a style all its own. Designed in a Japanese way with it's own Water Garden, terrace and boardwalk. Ideal for a family and children will love The Garden Wing, but there is access to the Japanese water garden, and bedroom 3+4 have unguarded stairs to unuseable mezzanine bunks ( see photos). Peaceful Farm Cottage | Countryside + Free Parking

Welcome to Byre, a beautifully converted 2BR cottage situated on a secluded 9-acre equestrian smallholding. Once a cowshed it has been visualised over 18 years to become the perfect countryside getaway, surrounded by horses and the stunning New Forest. Conveniently located just 20 min away from popular attractions such as Paultons Park, Salisbury Cathedral, or 30mins to Southampton + Cruise terminal, Bournemouth & Stonehenge. Byre is the ideal base to explore outdoors or relax in tranquillity

The Sail Loft: lovely River views

Accessed by an outside wooden staircase, the Sail Loft has a very large window providing wonderful views across the water meadows of the River Avon. This is a lovely, light-filled but cosy large studio room. There’s a kitchenette and a woodburner for those winter evenings, and we’re on the edge of the New Forest with lots of beautiful walks and cycling routes all year round. There are so many good pubs locally, and we are also only a half-hour drive from the South coast and its beaches.

The Summer House

The Summer House is a recently converted guest house, self contained with fully equipped kitchen , beautifully fitted bathroom ,double bed on the galleried mezzanine level ,accessed by ladder stairs with vaulted ceiling creating a loft style. It is fully heated ,has wi-fi , streamed TV, and ceiling speakers for streaming music. The space is modern,bright ,yet cosy. Outdoors it sits at the top of 14 acres of grounds over looking the main house. There is a private entrance and parking on site.

Stride’s Barn

A newly restored and beautifully refurbished oak framed barn conversion bordering the New Forest National Park . With spectacular far reaching views Stride’s Barn is situated 9 miles from the Cathedral City of Salisbury and 15 miles from Southampton . An ideal base to explore the local areas including many walks, pubs , restaurants, golf clubs and other tourist attractions such as Stonehenge and Paultons Park/Peppa Pig World . Can be rented with additional listing ‘The Cowshed’ (sleeps 2) .

Dating from the 16th century, Stable Cottage adjoins the rest of the property but has its own front door and is a completely private and self contained space. Downstairs has an entrance hall, sitting room, with original beams and kitchen; upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, one double and one single, bathroom and separate shower room. Perfect for 2/3 adults (3 adults max) or for a family with a baby/child. Close to Salisbury and the New Forest, it's the place to explore Wiltshire.

Elgin Cottage is a 16th century mid terraced home situated in the heart of Whiteparish. Beautifully presented and newly refurbished, this rustic cottage has stunning original features. With a log burner in the reception room which also has space to dine, two double bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, a secluded rear garden, laundry area with washing machine and separate drier, a study area with desk, high speed WIFI, and a bathroom with a bath and shower over.

Wich Hazel's apartment is an individual and secluded space set in a quiet country lane between Woodfalls and Downton. Perfectly placed for The New Forest National Park, Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge, Winchester. Bath, Dorset's Jurassic Coast or the Isle of Wight are just over and hours drive away. The area has a good choice of local restaurants, pubs and even a village brewery. Whether it's a cultural, relax and unwind or adventure break Wich Hazel is a great base.
