Alternatively, if you fancy a day trip you will find Devon's north & south coasts, Dartmoor, Exmoor and the Blackdown Hills all within an hours drive. Peaceful and quiet with beautiful views and easy access to road networks.

A large, cosy rustic 1 room cabin with separate electric shower & toilet, & kitchenette. King size bed. Stunning countryside views, set in a private animal paddock at the top of our garden. Fantastic for dog walking. It’s situated on a rural lane in an AONB . Situated between 2 villages both with pubs & village shops, one is easily walkable but a car is recommended, or bikes. We are located between north & south coasts so stunning beaches on hand as well as two national parks, Exmoor & Dartmoor.

Burrow Hill Cottage is a pet friendly Rural property in a very peaceful location in the Blackdown Hills AONB. The perfect getaway to chill and relax. It is approximately 1 mile from Hemyock at the veryend of a no-through road, no passing cars, lots of wildlife, dark skies and footpaths from your door. The Cottage has plenty of character, very spacious rooms with exposed beams, large inglenook fireplace with log burner. Large private sunny south facing garden with decking area. SECURE FOR DOG

This bespoke timber frame building was specifically designed for the holiday market.  Imagine a sumptuous high-end hotel suite glazed on two sides.  Then include a well-equipped fitted kitchen, add on an attached covered deck with semi sunken Hot Tub.  Place inside a private garden with tended lawn, climbing roses and wildflower area.  Throw in a handmade slate alfresco dining set and brick built charcoal grill.   Then raise it up to maximise the 180 degrees of uninterrupted country side views.

Hello! We are Rob and Kate and we have poured our heart and soul into our guest house. Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Beech Cottage, Southlands Farm, Dunkeswell

Beech Cottage at Southlands Farm is a lovely self contained property set in 11 acres, on the edge of the Blackdown Hills. Situated adjacent to our farmhouse, across a pretty shared courtyard, the cottage is warm and comfortable. The bedrooms have views of the orchard and tennis court, which you are welcome to use, along with the table tennis in the courtyard. Southlands Farm is in a perfect spot: a rural location renowned for its outstanding natural beauty but close to charming seaside towns.

The Gaff with heated swimming pool and studio

This really is the most beautiful of getaways - An easily accessible hideaway under 2 miles from junction 27 M5 and Tiverton Parkway. Suitable for 1-3 adults wanting to explore the South West, a mini yoga retreat, working locally or just wanting to escape to the countryside. The heated pool is right on your door step and has a swim pump . There is a wet-room, bed and sofa-bed downstairs. Hopefully suitable for many with neurodiverse issues or dementia. Not suitable for children or babies.

Countryside Cabin with Hot Tub and Tree Deck

Pear Tree Cabin is located in the quiet and peaceful hamlet of Ham in Somerset, sitting in the grounds of a seventeenth century thatched cottage on a quiet country lane surrounded by beautiful countryside. Relax in the hot tub spa after a busy day or share a drink on the tree deck built into a 400 year old Oak tree. Cook in a fully equipped kitchen or enjoy the rain whilst sat in a rocking chair. Snooze in a hammock and then relax in front of a film before heading to a comfy king size bed.

Culmstock Shepherd's Hut

A quiet place, with basic washing facilities & camping toilet. Bathroom, with shower usually available between 8am - 8pm. We offer various amenities, including a barbecue & hammock. There is a small wood burning stove, a double bed and sofa/seating area, & a fridge in the hut. Tea/coffee available. Wifi is okay, but we cannot guarantee it will be available 24/7. Also, although we love children & dogs, it really is not suitable for them as it would be too cramped, perfect for 2 adults!

Freshly available from June 2025, Roebuck Barn is a delightful self contained annex to the main barn, enjoying a wood fired hot tub beautifully maintained gardens, scenic views of moorland, green fields and farm surroundings, just 4 miles from Wellington, Somerset. The Barn is a recent conversion which has been finished exceptionally and includes exposed oak beans, flagstone floors, modern appliances and a wood burner. This is perfect accommodation for those that enjoy the countryside.
