Forge a silver ring with Jewelers
Learn how to make a sterling silver ring from scratch, with our AWARD WINNING EXPERIENCE! Start off by marking your silver to the length you require by choosing which finger you would like it on. Then, you'll use a handsaw to cut it to size, you'll learn how to form the ring, using a mallet to shape it to the ring mandrel. You'll watch as it is soldered in front of you by an expert tutor—all the time, she will explain exactly what she is doing. Then you'll learn to file it by using different hand files—this is fun, as it is when you get to individualize your ring, deciding what curve you would like it to have. This can make a great difference to the end result. Next, you'll choose from three very different textures. You get to use your creativity with the planishing hammer to achieve the texture you require. People love this part as it's when you make your ring truly individual. Finally you get to choose your polish. Some people like it polished only on the inside, to give it an artistic/rustic look. Others like the glittery sparkle of a fully polished ring. It's your decision. Then the best bit—you get to keep your ring! It's the ultimate souvenir for remembering your trip to Ireland. Enjoy! Other things to note We like to keep our classes small & intimate so our clients get the most out of the experience. Therefore, we kindly request if you are in a group, please book under the one person. If this isn't possible, please do message us, so we can ensure you are kept together for the experience! :)

Evening Walking Tour of Dublin
Some places only come alive after dark, or at least in the later hours of the day - and indeed that might be said of Dublin. At evening time the city's majestic architecture, its wrought-iron railings and bridges take on an eerie, almost Dickensian look. And yet this is Ireland, and the nearby pubs teem with banter and the strains of lively Irish music played on the fiddle and on the tin whistle. . . The Evening Tour will show you what few visitors see - Dublin’s more romantic ‘after 6pm’ ambience - with neither an office worker nor another tourist in sight. A great end-of-day activity for couples, groups, team-building or just the individual flâneur, the tour starts from the iconic Spire in O'Connell Street and calls at the General Post Office and the city's haunted Ha'penny Bridge. We briefly immerse ourselves in a more contemporary Dublin as we visit the lively Temple Bar district, and call in on The Project - the club where supergroup U2 were originally spotted in 1978 by talent scout Paul McGuinness. We view the world’s first purpose-built parliament - the Old Irish Parliament in College Green - and pass through the genteel shopping thoroughfare of Grafton Street, before our evening stroll finally concludes at the elegant Mansion House - home to Dublin's Lord Mayor and the first dedicated mayoral residence in either Ireland or Great Britain.

Create jewelry with Ireland's rare marble
* In Italy for the winter, see you in March!* Bring a beautiful Irish souvenir home, made by your own hands! Connemara marble is a beautiful, rare stone found only in Ireland! Join me in making your very own necklace, bracelet or pair of earrings with these hand cut stones over a glass of the black stuff in a city center lounge. If these particular stones aren't your fancy , don't worry. I have many beautiful alternatives to choose from including Dalmation Jasper, Turquoise and Amethyst to name a few. There are many variations of chain and hook in rose gold, gold and silver plated copper. I use copper as it has a close relationship to the Earth with beneficial properties. If you aren't into chain you can choose to have your necklace on an adjustable hemp cord or make a keyring instead. Aside from your little creation and glass of Guinness you will be taking home skills you can use in the future - look at you making all your jewellery for now on! When you are ready to leave, take your piece away in the cutest gift bag. * Time of experience is approximate depending on group size * Please note the options are earrings, chain necklace, hemp cord necklace, chain bracelet or metal keyring. I don't offer cufflinks or cord bracelets.
