The Blue Room is in what was an old bakery, now pottery, on Paternoster row, in the ancient Devon town of Ottery St. Mary. One antique double bed., The sea at Sidmouth is about six miles away. Glorious countryside, walking cycling, antique hunting and just relaxing. Loads of places to explore, Pubs and Inns to find, Ancient Mediaeval Church, Famous Poet and the Burning Tar barrels. We now have a Beaver family creating great interest on the river Otter. There is a safe pace to keep bicycles.

The village is free from all vehicular traffic on its steep cobbled street, where the only sounds you will hear are footsteps or the donkeys hooves upon the cobbles. We are still a working fishing village catching lobster, crab and herrings. other rooms are available on Airbnb The south west coast path passes through the village , to the west is Mouthmill , a small inlet with the spectacular Black church rock formation.
