Peaceful lake and woodland retreat

Welcome to beautiful Lake Peekskill. This self-contained guest suite is situated in the entire lower level of a private house down several steps, featuring its own private door access, as well as parking on site. Guests can access the grounds of the house including areas to sit, a native wildflower pasture, and a woodland with wildlife including deer, foxes, and birds. Lake access is a 15-min walk away (or a 3-min drive) to a beach area where guests can swim, fish, and make use of two kayaks.

Little haven by the woods

This is a walk-out basement with two private entrances, and it’s own private outside area. The patio has comfy furniture with a bbq. The kitchen is small, yet efficient with large windows. The bedroom is cozy and comfy with a large smart tv on the wall. The bedroom has a 3/4 wall dividing it from the rest of the apt, but no actual door. So it could be considered a “studio”. We are steps from the trail heads into Blue Mt park. We’re also walking distance to the metro north & downtown.

This cozy modern bungalow is set adjacent to our home with a separate entrance from the driveway on 8 acres isolated on a back country road with no neighbors visible anywhere. You are a bike ride away from Fahnestock Park, the Appalachian Trail, the Zen Monastery, White Pond and a small country deli. It's a 20 minute drive to Cold Spring with antiques and restaurants, 15 minutes to Carmel with first run movies, bowling, restaurants and a mall.
