This self-contained tiny annexe with private entrance is attached to a 550 year-old former Mill in the rural hamlet of Ponsworthy, 3 miles from the famous Widecombe. Kitchenette, very small shower room, extremely steep staircase ascending to cosy bedroom with seating area + Sky TV. Outdoor seating area surrounded by trees and the sound of the river. The Shippon is a meticulously converted cow barn with heated, polished concrete floors, gently curving deep green walls, hand-built kitchen, warmly lit reading nooks, & natural materials. With it’s own private parking & entrance, the elegantly furnished room features an eclectic mix of antique furniture and Smeg kitchen appliances. From April to August, wander 50m down the road to a five-acre wildflower meadow with a Dartmoor stream and a collection of wild orchids & swathes of native wildflowers.
