Located in the small village of Scorriton near Buckfastleigh it’s ideal for walks, visiting the coast or beautiful nearby towns of Ashburton (15 minute drive) and Totnes (20 minute drive). Scorriton is located on the Two Moors Way and there are stunning walks from your front door. The kitchen is well equipped to refuel after a day out or you are a two minute walk from the lovely local pub.

Comfortable granite barn conversion with its own garden in working farm yard, offers self catering base in the Dartmoor National Park. Open plan living space, exposed beams, AGA and king sized bed. Ideal for exploring Dartmoor on foot, by car or by bike. A bridle path runs through the yard should you want to walk to Hexworthy, Princetown, Postbridge or beyond. Pick up/drop off service available at cost.

The Apiary is a converted hayloft sitting at the end of a 16th Century Dartmoor Farmhouse, a short ten-minute walk from Widecombe in the Moor and 200m from the Two Moors Way. With it’s own private parking & entrance, the elegantly furnished room features an eclectic mix of antique furniture and Smeg kitchen appliances. From April to August, wander 50m down the road to a five-acre wildflower meadow with a Dartmoor stream and a collection of wild orchids & swathes of native wildflowers.

Ashburton is a beautiful town nestled right below Dartmoor and a short drive from the stunning South Devon coast. This is the ideal place for a quiet break, week exploring the local area or somewhere to stay while visiting Ashburton's renowned cookery school.

Swaledale Shepherd’s Hut -in the heart of Dartmoor

This brand new Shepherds Hut is set in the heart of the Dartmoor national park, surrounded by beautiful Dartmoor valleys and rolling hills. It is spacious, benefiting from a double bunk bed, log burner for cosy evenings, a small kitchen area, table and chairs, a sheepskin bench and USB charging points. Outside, there is parking and a lawn area, fire pit and BBQ with picnic table. The hut is situated on a Small shepherds hut campsite in a beautiful moorland valley.

Unwind at this Devonshire farmhouse, surrounded by the moors. Take an early morning stroll, then head back for a morning coffee to enjoy the elevated views of Dartmoor. Although secluded with a feeling of remoteness, the picturesque village of Widecombe, with its well-known pub is only a five-minute drive away . The listed farmhouse dates back to 1750 and has been lovingly restored in a charming contemporary-chic style, providing a cosy and comfortable interior.

The Garden Flat is located in a listed building within easy walking distance of Ashburton Cookery School and the lovely shops and cafes in our tiny town. Dartmoor National Park is on our doorstep and the stunning South Devon coastline is just a short drive away. One dedicated parking space. One well behaved dog is welcome, there is a fee of £30 per stay to bring one dog.
