True to its name, Casa La Playa is a beachfront villa offering gorgeous ocean views from every room and a luxurious boutique hotel-worthy experience. Its location puts you right on the beach and just minutes from downtown Puerto Vallarta, and a full staff is ready to help you take advantage of it. Eight suite-style bedrooms provide comfort and privacy to up to sixteen guests.
The villa’s outdoor living areas stretch along the beach, so you can enjoy ocean views or the sound of the waves from the private outdoor dining area, one of two heated pools, a plunge pool or one of the chaise longues spread along the patio around the pool. Gardens on both the ground and rooftop levels give the villa the feeling of a quiet retreat in the midst of Puerto Vallarta. A barbecue lets you try out local specialties, and a jetted tub lets you soak away the day. The villa also has satellite TV, a sound system, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and ceiling fans and a heating system. During your stay, chefs, housekeepers, a houseman and concierge are on hand to ensure your comfort.
Bright, open living spaces with indoor gardens and plenty of natural texture make the interiors of Casa La Playa feel like an extension of the tropical gardens and beach outside. The open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen, which open to the patio via huge glass doors, have breezy, casual wood furniture with crisp white upholstery. A wood-paneled wall conceals the TV, and modern sculptures add artistic flair. Large groups will appreciate the two fully equipped kitchens with breakfast bars.
Each of the villa’s eight bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, TV, music player and ocean view. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms with king beds, one of which opens to the patio, and two bedrooms with two twin beds each. The second floor has two bedrooms with king beds, one of which opens to a balcony and the other of which opens to a patio. On the third floor, there are two bedrooms with king beds, one of which has a sitting area as well.
If you’re flying to Puerto Vallarta, plan on a 5-mile drive from Diaz Ordaz International Airport to Casa La Playa. From the villa, it’s a 70-meter walk to Playa Camarones, 2 miles to Los Muertos Beach, 2 miles to Amapas Beach and 2.5 miles to Conchas Chinas Beach. Shopping and dining are a 5-minute drive from the villa in downtown Puerto Vallarta and the Malecon boardwalk is 3 miles away. Play a round at Vista Vallarta Golf Club, just under 9 miles away, and spend an afternoon exploring the Vallarta Zoo, 9 miles away, or the Vallarta Botanical Gardens, 16 miles away.
