The Lodge, Puddledock

Puddledock Lodge is a small cosy lodge,based on a small campsite near Canterbury. situated at the end of a private driveway, next to woodland, close by my own home. To the rear of the site in an old barn is our small classic vehicle restoration business that makes unusual vehicles to stay in like our horsebox lorry & waggon hut sited around the pond. The Lodge is the perfect escape with woodland walks though the wild camping area and countryside.It’s within easy reach of beaches & attractions.

A unique, cosy beach hut retreat in a spacious garden with private access, in the historic town of Deal. Continental breakfast provided. 5 mins walk from Deal train station and 8 mins from the beach, 3 mins from Deal's High Street with independent shops, bars and restaurants and by Deal conservation area . Also near Restharrow Scrape- an artificial wetland x2 bird hides. Perfect for a detox. 24 hours notice before your visit required. Hut has been electrician-certified.

We look forward to hosting you in our cosy, seaside-themed cabin set in our garden. Suitable for couples or friends as there's also a sofa bed if needed (please advise at the time of booking). (Please note we are unable to accept children under 12.) Perfect as a base for exploring the local area of Herne Bay with great trails for bikes/walks and runners. A welcome basket for a light breakfast is provided, along with teas, coffee and milk/juice.

This is the perfect base for cyclists and walkers alike and great for a few days sight seeing in the city of Canterbury. Your accommodation has private access and consists of a king size bed with a spacious shower room and the facilities to make a light breakfast with a eating area both inside the cabin or outside on your private patio area
