At Siri Homestay we offer you a private cozy room in a large garden area near Chiang Mai. Siri Homestay received a certified standard of home stay from Tourism Authority of Thailand (TTT). Our space is located in Umong, Muang Lamphun, 45 minutes drive from Chiang Mai International Airport, a 30 mins drive from the Chiang Mai's old city.and 25 minutes from Wat Phathat Hariphunchai Lamphun. <b> Attractions </b> Wat Phra That Hariphunchai, Lampun (7 Kms from our place) Sited in mid-town, Wat Phra That Hariphunchai was built during the reign of King Arthitayarat, a descendant of Queen Chamthewi some 800 years ago. A principal landmark is the 46-metre tall golden Chedi whose present appearance was the result of the restoration work in 1443 by a king of Chiang Mai. It has long been regarded as a major place of worship. Other architectural works include the ancient-style brick arch adorned with fine designs and the pair of sculptured lions at the door. There are also a square-shaped Chedi and a Khmer-style Buddha statue. Wiang Kum Kam (30 mins by car from our place) Wiang Kum Kam is an ancient city that was built in the reign of King Mengrai in 1286. The city was surrounded by ditches in every corner and they were used as reservoirs. From the discoveries, there are 20 ancient remains in and around Wiang Kum Kam include buildings and temples of Wat Chedi Liam, Wat Chang Kham, Wat Noi, Wat Pu Pia, Wat Ku Khao, Wat E Kang, Wat Hua Nong, and Wat Pu Song. The remains are dating from 21st –22nd Buddhist centuries. And it's about 45 minutes by car to Night Safari & Ratchaphruek Garden!
