Nearby are the Thames Market towns of Wallingford, Henley and Abingdon and the beautiful surrounding countryside.The historic city of Oxford is only 8 miles away and Bicester Village is a 30 minute drive.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Enjoy your stay at our first floor self contained Annexe on Abingdon Marina . Take a short walk along The River Thames Path into the historic Town Of Abingdon On Thames. Here you will find a selection of restaurants, coffee shops and bars. You can hire day boats and paddle boards near Abingdon bridge for the day. There is a regular bus service to Oxford City Centre. You are able to use the Marina slipway for paddle boards and canoes near us.

Walk into Oxford in around 30 minutes across beautiful Port Meadow, alongside the Thames, with the renowned 17th-century Perch pub close by. Sleeps six in three bedrooms, with a spacious sitting room, farmhouse kitchen/diner, private garden and free parking.

Privately located in my back garden there is a large open plan room with 2 double sofa beds, sleeping 4, a slate bed pool table & Hi Fi system. There's a luxury en suite bathroom with copper bathtub, shower, basin & WC. There are basic kitchen facilities with kettle, toaster, double hot plate, microwave & grill, sink & refrigerator/freezer. A veranda with 2 bbq's & seats plus lower deck overlook the river.

The Oak Barn, your own space in a Thameside hamlet

A beautiful private space all to yourself, the Oak Barn has great character & enjoys lovely views over fields to the Chilterns beyond. You have your own entrance & key so can come & go as you please. The hamlet of Preston Crowmarsh lies on the river Thames & is a great place to wild swim & watch red kites. A 5 minute walk takes you to the Thames towpath & an 8 minute walk to the bus stop for Oxford and Reading. We leave you to enjoy your privacy but are next door in the main house if needed.

The house and garden is situated on the river Coln, where you have your own private access to the river, fishing and intimate viewing of the the wildlife. You have exclusive access to the property for your stay to relax outdoors with a BBQ, or cozy up to the wood fire and watch TV or read a book. Just outside the door are a multitude of footpaths and dining.
