If you are looking for a romantic escape in the New Forest, just a short walk from the pub and open forest, then look no further. Situated in the grounds of an impressive country house, the Goat Shed is the stylishly renovated ground floor of a 19th century barn, with a kingsize four poster bed, claw foot bath and woodburning stove. Deer roam through the gardens, and our wood burning stove makes nights in perfectly cosy. A great spot from which to explore the forest, or simply relax in comfort.

It’s the perfect place for a cozy winter break, Perfect for couples, or for a family to enjoy a tranquil break on the on the Isle of Purbeck. Full of original character, the 145-year-old cottage has been renovated and extended into a wonderful home.

We fully renovated this cosy, two bedroom cottage to create a warm, welcoming space where the only sounds you’ll hear are the tweeting of birds and crackle of the newly fitted wood burning stove. The cottage has a king, a twin room and a sofa bed in the lounge so is flexible with accommodating various set ups. The location is just about as good as it gets. It’s a 10 min walk along the stunning River Frome into Wareham and a stone’s throw from all major tourist attractions on the Purbecks.

Sleeping areas are open plan but have thick curtains that can be drawn to create a private and cosy space. Formerly a quarryman's home for many generations this grade 2 listed property is part of the original town & has uninterrupted hill views of Ninebarrow & Ballard Down. Walk & explore the Isle of Purbeck: just 30 mins drive to Durdle Door & Lulworth Cove. Swanage town centre & beach are a 20 min (2km) walk from Deal Cottage.
