In the pretty hamlet of Freefolk you will find a charming secluded Shepherds hut set in its own paddock, including a hot tub & pizza oven, WiFi, gas hob, king size bed, sofa, dining table, toilet, shower, fridge freezer, stove, solar electricity and fire pit - it has everything you need. The paddock overlooks our horses, sheep & chickens. A short walk will take you to theaward winning Watership Down Inn Bombay Sapphire distillery. The surrounding area boasts beautiful walks. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature, a slice of heaven on a private island, exclusively for your use. The Island at Great farm is made up of an upturned boat for sleeping in, a socialable covered kitchen/bar with its own stove, and a private wood fired hot tub. The river Coln flows alongside, and the accommodation is reached by crossing a footbridge over the river. Walks stretch out in every direction, and the Cotswold towns of Fairford and Lechlade are both close by.

Our beautiful Shepherds Hut was built with loving care during Lockdown and now provides the perfect warm cosy get-away from the stresses of life. The hut is situated in it's own fruit and vegetable garden within an AONB with views to die for. We provide tea coffee milk cereals juice yogurts and home made bread for breakfast and a few beers. Mickleton village is a 5 minutes walk, has 2 great pubs a butchers and village store as well as the famous Pudding Club. Small dog welcome £15 / stay

The space sleeps 2 comfortably with a wood burning stove, gas hob, fridge and outside fire pit. Wood is available for the fire pit at a cost of £10/wheelbarrow load. There is an outside loo, shower and standing water supply just outside the hut for washing up as well as full mains electricity.
