Excellent, loved the place and the style and the location/views were incredible. Hope to be able to stay here again in the future.

This house is so nice and cozy! It is very clean and has such a welcoming atmosphere. The location is walking distance from the local zoo and it is very accessible to get to. Such a perfect getaway and location to consider the next time up in Big Bear!

Great and convenient location near big bear, was definitely glad we went with moonridge to avoid all the traffic! Cabin is cute and cozy. Host was communicative. I will say I was disappointed in the maintenance and cleanliness, I understand it’s an older cabin but there was a noticeable smell when we walked in and it was pretty dusty with pet hair all over the couch. We had to wash every dish before using them as they didn’t seem very clean. Also bring your own kitchen essentials, all they had was salt and pepper. Most notably, they need to update the pictures of the deck as it is pretty sun damaged and doesn’t have those lovely lounge chairs. We were bummed because we were excited to spend lots of time on the deck. Overall I’m not sure this place is worth what they’re charging due to lack of upkeep—it may be better in the winter months but not sure.

If you wanted to feel transported in time to a cozy cabin from the 60s, I highly recommend this cabin. While they kept a lot of the original design, the modern updates were amazing. Especially in the kitchen- we really enjoyed cooking and hanging out. The views at sunset were also breathtaking. Definitely would stay again!
