While I knew we were staying in a room in someone's home, I expected somewhat more privacy. We initially entered through a basement door as this is what is shown in the confirmation photo. We assumed we'd be in a basement apartment. Once inside, we saw a meditation area which we recognized from the photos on the airbnb site but couldn't find a bedroom. We could hear people upstairs, so went back outside and to the front door. We let ourselves in via the keypad and then called out as we had no instructions as to where to go. The host came out. He was very friendly and helpful and showed us our room. The room is just inside the front door. The bathroom is across the hall. In the morning we were woken by strong cooking smells. It was a bit uncomfortable as we could clearly hear the hosts and friends talking and felt a little exposed having to go across the hall to the bathroom. Some people may be comfortable with this arrangement. We're not and felt this wasn't made clear.

Andrei's home was a wonderful home base while in the area visiting Tanglewood. Wonderful host! Highly recommended.
