Such a beautiful place. We will definitely be back! Getting to wake up every morning and see the water as soon as you open your eyes was just unreal! It was so nice to visit Maine and be away from the tourist craziness and be in a quiet slower pace town too. We got lobsters and crabs right off the boat from the locals and souvenirs from the little pottery shack in town. We found so much seaglass just by walking the nearby beaches and my husband was able to fish right off the rocks in front of the house. Such a fun and relaxing time!

BOOK IT!

This place is so beautiful and peaceful. Perfectly designed house! And the views are amazing. Fun to watch the seals and birds in the bay, and the house has everything you need and nothing you don’t. Comfy beds, soft towels, very clean. I would suggest to bring a chair if there are 2 of you as there was only one comfy chair inside. We brought a camp chair which worked well. The surrounding area is beautiful and make sure to do the hike at the preserve nearby. Long but so gorgeous. You won’t want to leave!

Pretty perfect about sums it up. The cottage is beautifully set overlooking the sea; an always changing tapestry of wildlife, weather, waves, tides, fishing boats, and once a day sunsets, all enjoyed through ceiling to floor glass, or from the deck or the numerous choices of places to sit (or lie in a hammock) around the property. Inside, the views dominate, but additionally the cottage is well-appointed and comfortable, with very comfortable beds, a well- equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom (also with great views:). This is a great place to get away, to read, eat, relax, and maybe go for a hike in one of the two conservation preserves in the area (highly recommend both!)

If you’d like to get away from the craziness, reduce your stress level and find some peace, this is the place! Such a beautiful setting to enjoy nature and relax!
OUIET, Comfortable accommodations, nicely decorated with every amenity. Just be sure to pick up everything you’d like to eat on your way there. It’s not a tourist location- which was great! The shopping and dining is a drive- not impossible- but once you arrive you won’t want to leave. Most relaxing time away we’ve every had! LOVED IT!!
