Great location and easy check in! The home itself was cozy and quaint.

Read the previous negative reviews; They are all true! Although the space itself is large and inviting the unit itself is dirty. The sofa was stained and old, the carpet in the bedroom was worse than you can imagine so I didn't take my shoes off in the bedroom . Imagine a day of walking and sightseeing and not feeling like you can take your shoes off. There is hardwood in the main living area that was nice, but it didn't extend to the bedroom.

Right before the trip I reread the previous reviews and contacted the host to make sure that the bed was fixed and that the air-conditioning was in working order and that the unit would be cleaned. The AC worked and the bed was fine, but the carpet had not been vacuumed in addition to being heavily stained in multiple places.

I always try to be positive but it is not fair that I paid my hard earned money and had to stay in a dirty place. The place doesn't have to be the newest or fanciest but I don't think it is unreasonable to expect a clean place.

This was place was great. High ceilings, nice furnishings, great AC. I loved how it was close enough to walk to the festivities on Bourbon street yet far enough that I was able to rest, relax and sleep peacefully without all the raucous partying sounds. I found the following two issues soured me on this reservation. For one it seems you have to check in at the hotel next door. When I did so I asked that I be contacted by any means on my cell phone as soon as my room was set in order to get inside and get prepared for a 5:30 dinner meeting. No one contacted me in any way to let me know when my room was ready. When I got to the hotel I was told my unit had been ready for quite some time to my annoyance. The other issue I had with this booking was that I found the host to be super responsive when he was attempting to get my business however, once he got it my messages to him went unanswered. Other than the automatic responses regarding check in, house rules, etc. I could not get a response from him regarding an amenity he had listed but was nowhere to be found in the home. I did not hear back from the host till the day and a half before I checked out which at that point was moot. It sucks too because as I mentioned previously I really like the spot but his lack of responding to my issues left a lot to be desired.

Jeremy's place was great because of the location and we were able to have our pet pug stay with us. Also, the place is associated with a near by hotel and it was really useful because the spare pillows did not have pillow covers. But after talking to their front desk, they provided pillow covers and extra sheets right away. Thank you.
